Mason's 2nd Birthday

So...I do realize that the last time I blogged was Mason's first birthday and i'm sorry!!! So here we are a year later. Things are crazy and great. Dave is working for Farmers Insurance in Driggs. Things are slow but growing so that's good. They have a satelite office in Idaho Falls that Dave works at 2 days a week also. I'm still working one day a weeks at the salon and i'm also working for the school district office part time helping with the monthly state uploads they have to do. Along with the two jobs and Mason I stay plenty busy.

Mason is doing great! He is a busy boy and full of life!! He's picking up new words every day and starting to talk a lot. He definitely makes life fun and exciting. I can't believe he's two already. His birthday was really fun and we had lots of family that came to help us celebrate, which he loved!!

Yesterday was Mason's 1st birthday!! I can't believe it's been a year already. I feel like the last 12 months have just flown by in a blur. We had a fun party for him at our house with lots of family! Mason loved it. I'm not sure he new it was his birthday or anything but he definitely loved having all the people he loves around paying attention to him. It was so fun to have everyone over.

It took Mason a while to really get his hands in the cupcake, but eventually he got into it and definitely made a mess. What a cute little boy!

Here are some random pictures for everyone. Mason is doing great! He is such a fun happy baby. He's starting to crawl and getting way to mobile!! He still doesn't like to eat anything really and won't take a bottle but we're working with him!! However, we did hold a spoon up with some chocolate frosting on it and he went nuts for it!! Probably shouldn't give him chocolate when he won't eat anything else!!Last week Mason learned to lean over the side of the crip. So we lowered it and within three days he learned how to pull himself up on the side!! He loves to stand there and look over the side. He just sits there and talks and talks and of course chews on the side!! Here is a picture of our fireplace. Dave and I tiled it ourselves. Not to shabby!!

We just finished laying our hardwood floor Friday night. Saturday we buffed it and put a layer of clear coat on it. It looks good. We're excited.

This is our master bathroom. All we have left is grout!! We did the floor and then had some of Dave's friends help us finish the shower and tub. They did such a good job!!

I know it's been forever since we last posted anything. A lot has been going on! Things on the house are going well. We basically work from the time Dave gets home from work until dark every night. And on most days my dad and I end up out there doing some stuff before. For the most part we are having an good time but it will be really nice when we're done. We are aiming for some time in December!! Hopefully by Christmas!!! They are doing insulation tomorrow and starting Drywall next Tuesday!!

We blessed Mason yesterday. It was such a neat experience. Dave blessed him and did such a wonderful job. We had quite a bit of family come up which was really neat. We are both so lucky to have close families. Mason looked really cute. Aunt Jenny knitted him his little vest and it worked perfect for the blessing. Of course 5 minutes before Dave blessed him I hurried to the bathroom to change Mason's diaper and while I was changing him he peed all over himself and his cloths. So Dave had to take him up there with wet clothes. Oh well I guess it will make for a funny story to tell him when he gets older!

Well everything is going great! Mason had a doctor appointment last week and everything looked healthy. He weighed 8 1/2 lb so he grew a little more than a pound and he also grew an inch. He's really starting to put on the weight!! Not so newborn anymore. We are going to bless him next sunday on Easter.

Grandma Marcia made him a really cute little sweater last week. It looks so good and I'm very impressed that she made it. Here are some pictures of him in the sweater and also some other ones just for fun.

Well we're home! We came home last Thursday and have been loving it! Mason is doing great. He is just a really good baby. Luckily he has Dave's mild temperment!! We are just having so much fun with him and are learning and adjusting little by little. Here are some more pictures of him! We just love him to death!

HE'S HERE!!! It was a long drawn out process but we're glad to say he's finally here. We had him about 11:05 last night (March 10). He weighed 7 lb 3 oz and was 20 inches long. He's healthy and doing great. It was a long day and night but we're all doing good and very excited to start our little family!! Isn't he cute!!!

Dave and I have had a little winter fever the last few weeks so we decided to build a TV Stand! We got an old TV stand from Tim and Jenny so we took it apart and built a new one. After that we had some left over wood so we decided to build night stands. They turned out really good. I have to give Dave most of the credit. I was just the big pregnant side kick!! He is really good at this kind of stuff.

My sisters and my mom threw me a shower a couple weeks ago. It was really fun and we got some really cute stuff!! I think we're pretty much ready for the little guy to come. Now it's just a waiting game!! 3 MORE WEEKS!!

We're Blogging!

Well I finally decided I better get my act together and get a blog going for our family since we have some exciting things coming up. I will be honest, I'm not very good at all of this but hopefully I'll be good enough to get the really important stuff on here so everyone can keep updated. Well only about 7 more weeks left until I'm due. I'm getting very excited and very ready to be done being pregnant. Just when I feel I can't get any bigger the next week I am! But that's ok. Dave and I can't wait to meet our little guy and get our family going.
